Jake joined Spencer Financial in 2022 after twelve years as a Doctor of Chiropractic in the Kansas City Northland. He is passionate about promoting health, whether physical or financial. Jake holds series 7 and 66 securities registrations, and serves on the Spencer Financial Investment Research team. He received his Undergraduate Degree in Mathematics and played soccer at William Jewell College. After earning his Doctorate at Logan University in St. Louis, Missouri, he moved back to Liberty, Missouri in 2009.

As a financial advisor, Jake enjoys the educational component of advising his clients to understand their options and make informed decisions about their future. He believes the combination of a comprehensive financial plan and a congruent investment strategy are powerful tools to reduce the fears that often surround the topic of finances and retirement.

Jake is married to Katy and they have three children: Moriah, Jack, and Cora. He volunteers on the Executive Team for ManUp, a ministry focused on serving local foster families. Jake is the club director for Liberty United, a youth soccer club, and coaches his kid’s teams. Jake is a Chiefs, Sporting KC, and Mizzou fan.
